Created by Shane Scheel, Anderson Davis, and Christopher Lloyd Bratten. F​or The Record Live has ​celebrated the work of acclaimed ​directors Quentin Tarantino,  Baz Luhrmann, Martin Scorsese,  John Hughes, as well as The ​Coen Brothers, Paul Thomas Anderson,​ ​G​arry and Penny Marshall, and ​Robert Zemeckis.​ ​

For The Record Live began in 20​10​ in a small bar ​in East Hollywood​​​​​. ​Since then, FTR has become the “must-see show” in L​A​​ ​and has journey'd beyond California to New York, ​Chicago, SXSW in Austin, TX​, ​the ​Montreal International Jazz Festival​​, a residency at Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, a permanent venue on the Norwegian Escape, and a co-production with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. As a series, For The Record​ Live​ has been featured on CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, ​Access Hollywood​, Entertainment Weekly and earned rave reviews from Vanity Fair, The L.A. Times, The London Times, The Las Vegas Sun, L.A. Magazine, and more. 

The FTR Company is made up of stars and newly discovered talent from stage and screen.
